An accurate temperature sensor capable of measuring temperatures in the range of -55°C to +150°C, compatible with all WiFi-enabled SpaceMotionery modules, for testing small satellites (e.g. CubeSats) and for performing various physics and STEM experiments, but also to automate electronic measurements, under the real-time control of a Smartphone or PC.

Description

This is an accurate temperature sensor capable of measuring temperatures in the range of -55°C to +150°C with an accuracy of +/-1°C in the range of -10°C to 65°C.

It is primarily intended for testing small satellites (e.g. CubeSats) and performing various physical and STEM experiments, but also for automating electronic measurements.

Its reduced thickness (<1mm) allows the sensors to be inserted even inside thin spaces.

The sensor has an SPI interface, but can be easily controlled via a smartphone or PC and monitored using MATLAB or Octave, when connected to any WiFi-enabled SpaceMotionery module including, among others, the SMT10D11S Standalone WiFi Module, the SMT01A01 1U Solar Simulator and the SMT02C13 Helmholtz Cage.
