| Description | A small and simple sky simulator to be used for testing Star Sensors and ADCS with 0.5 arcmin resolution and 20 deg Field Of View.
The Sky Simulator tester is capable of projecting onto a Star Sensor or Star Tracker an image of a user-defined part of the sky with 1 minute resolution and 6 deg field of view. Position and magnitudo of stars is stored in a sky map and the desired part of it is projected (focused at the infinity) onto the sensor opening. The sky map is generated either by the SMT07A Orbital Geomagnetic Attitude Software, which has to be purchased separately, or by own SW |
